H\u00e5kan Lindberg is the new Head of Business Development at Nowaste Logistics. His goal is to help make Nowaste the best and most resource-efficient logistics provider in the Nordic region. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

After graduating from the School of Business, H\u00e5kan Lindberg came to his hometown of Helsingborg and was involved in starting up Nordisk Transports warehousing service, a logistics company that later went on to become Postnord TPL Helsingborg through various acquisitions, where H\u00e5kan was the regional manager for Southern Sweden and also the CEO of the Danish TPL company. <\/p>\n\n

– It has been a constant development, you could say. From two employees to around 750 and close to a billion in revenue. Third-party logistics has fundamentally changed in just five to ten years, partially due to the growth of e-commerce. The development will continue, it is a lasting change in society that we have seen, says H\u00e5kan Lindberg. <\/p>\n\n

As Head of Business Development, H\u00e5kan Lindberg’s task is to develop existing assignments and create new ones at Nowaste Logistics, the logistics provider that once started as a department in the fruit and vegetable company Everfresh. <\/p>\n\n

– We are going to become one of the largest logistics providers in the Nordic region, but more importantly, we are going to be the best and most resource-efficient. The industry will consolidate, it is completely natural after the significant development that has happened with many players. Nowaste has a well-developed concept and such cost-efficiency that we have an advantage when the consolidation happens. <\/p>\n\n

It’s not just world-class automation. Technology and unique solutions are an important part of success. But there is also a very appealing company culture at Nowaste. There aren’t many in the industry that have only permanent employees. If people are happy, motivation and drive will follow, and responsibility will come with that. It leads to better delivery, which benefits everyone. We will maintain the mindset of a small company even as we grow. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
